Mark – Over 21 Years of Alaska Boating Expertise
Mark has lived in Alaska for over 20 years working in and around
boats of all shapes and sizes from rafts to a 100' crab boats.
Each spring he plies the waters at the mouth of the Copper River
in his commercial salmon boat, trying to catch the highly prized
Copper River Salmon. He has always enjoyed the paddle sports
and is glad to share his expertise with you.

Dave– Over 30 Years
of Alaska & Southwest Adventure Expertise
Dave is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain
climbing, kayaking and rafting. Over three decades, he has made
a number of descents of the Copper River and some its tributaries
in a variety of crafts. He recently made his 6th descent of
the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon by kayak. He has
climbed several of the high peaks surrounding the Copper River
Watershed.

Robin, your Host – Over 21 Years of Alaska Naturalist Expertise
Robin came to Alaska over 20 years ago. She fell in love with the Alaskan
wilderness and the unique lifestyles of people in Alaska. She has worked
in environmental education, and as a naturalist for various state and
federal agencies in Alaska. She loves to share her wealth of knowledge
with all who join her on the river or on a hike into the backcountry. |

Kathy – Over 21 Years of Alaska River Rafting Expertise
Kathy grew up whitewater canoeing. She has raced whitewater canoes all over the
country. She settled in Alaska almost two decades ago, bringing her spirit of adventure
and love of boating with her. She has rafted and canoed numerous rivers in this great
state, and is always eager to take you down the river. |

Jay – Over 30 Years of Alaska Naturalist Expertise
Jay is a seasoned boater and outdoor enthusiast with more than 30 years of experience. Born and raised in Colorado, Jay came to Cordova in the late 70’s to work as an elementary school teacher and his enthusiasm for kids and families really shines. He’s rafted several rivers across this great state, from north to south and east to west. He’s done the Grand Canyon and several rivers in Idaho, Oregon and Colorado too. He spends his winters climbing in the backcountry to find the best powder for skiing. With his love of the outdoors, eagerness for the river, and years of experience, Jay is a great asset to our team. |

Glen will teach you
proper techniques to safely traverse an ice field or climb a
vertical wall of ice, so you can relax and enjoy your journey
on the ice. His quiet demeanor will have you at ease in even
the most exhilarating climbs.

DIANE - Loves the outdoors and is eager to

Diane, always loved the outdoors. She got her
first boat at age 12.
She was born in the south island of New zealand, raised skiing
in the southern Alps.
She currently resides in Cordova Alaska and is inspired by the
plants and nature of Cordova's many mountain trails.
She enjoys meeting folks from all over the globe and her enthusiasm
shines when she leads hikes and ecotours.
Allen - A naturalist
and environmental educator with an amazing wealth of knowledge
of the local geology, flora and fauna.
Allen has an incredible
ability to share information on even the most technical scientific
phenomena in a way for anyone to understand. He runs adult education
programs, kid’s camps, and elementary science education programs.
